Different Income Producing Strategies In The Stock Market
There are a lot of different strategies in the stock market which an investor can use to pull out a consistent income. So, what are these strategies? Here is a list of a few different ways people will use to get money from the market every year.
Dividend Investing
One of the easiest ways to pull out a monthly income from the stock market is by investing in high dividend paying stocks. These companies pay out a small percentage of their profits to their investors, making this a nice passive way to make money.
The great thing about this is that not only does an investor not assume any more risk, but they don’t even have to do anything else aside from buying the stock to recieve them consistently.
2. Selling Covered Calls
Selling covered calls can be a similar way of making money, but it comes with some extra risks. By selling a call you recieve money up front, but you are also obligating yourself to sell your stock in the future at a given price should the buyer choose to exercise the option. Call options do eventually expire worthless if the buyer does not use them, which means that most calls will not be exercised . Just be prepared to sell the stock if you do sell a call.
While selling calls do add on a little bit more risk they can be a lot more profitable then dividends.
3. Trading Options
One other way to increase the amount of money you make in the stock market is by trading stock options. Stock options can be extremely profitable if used correctly. Of course there is a learning curve and it may take some time to get the hang of, but it has the highest potential out of all money making strategies in the stock market.
These are just a few different methods people use to make money from the stock market. There are many other strategies but these are the most popular.
